Bitcoin nodes by country.
Explore public Bitcoin node distribution by country hints, reachable peers, network type, and quality signals.

Country data is observational and updates as the crawler sees reachable public nodes.
Country data is an estimate
Bitcoin node country data usually comes from IP geolocation and public reachability checks. It is useful, but not perfect, because the internet loves making location messy.
Why distribution matters
A distributed Bitcoin node network reduces reliance on any single region, provider, or political environment.
Use the live atlas
BTCNodes lets you filter and sort reachable public nodes by quality, country hints, latency, uptime, height, client version, and network type.
Bitcoin node country data is useful, not absolute
Bitcoin nodes do not announce a trusted country. Country views are built from public network reachability and IP geolocation hints, so they should be treated as estimates.
A visible node may be behind a hosting provider, VPN, proxy, Tor exit, or routing setup that makes location less obvious. That is normal internet nonsense, not a BTCNodes failure.
Use this page to understand broad distribution patterns, then use the live node atlas to inspect reachable nodes by quality, network type, client version, height alignment, and latency hints.
